Hi All. Wondered if anyone had any cocker bitches that they’re moving on? I’m specifically looking to offer a home to an older working cocker (not a pup). We already have a cocker x poodle as a pet but I’d love a cocker to take shooting.
The ideal dog for us would be one who is trained picking up/retrieving (don’t mind whatsoever doing extra training though) and would love to sit on a peg with me for 10 or so days throughout the season then pigeons etc plus the opportunity to join other picking up days! Possible one that doesn’t quite make the grade for a full team/needs a bit more 1:1 work? Ideally of the smaller size but primarily would just want her to love going out shooting!
