Dear Stakeholder,
Thank you for engaging in the network and for adding to the pool of skills and knowledge that makes the network function. As we gather the network widens.
Please find attached the papers for the Summit and the AGM of the network which hopefully brings you information and a reason to join us on Sunday 27 July in Stirling at the Stirling Court Hotel from 10:00.
There will be a series of topics discussed and explained by myself and NatureScot representatives also SAOS who administer the Chiller Grant Scheme.
PLEASE REGISTER your intention to attend with Kevin Mcculloch of NatureScot. kevin.mcculloch@nature.scot
(copy & paste into an email). Please also submit apologies if unable to attend.
Committee nominations.
I am actively seeking support to ensure that we have specialists who can form subcommittees to ensure we are well prepared and find those who can assist me to attend meetings, forums and committees.
Sectors that we should prepare to address include:
Wild Deer Best Practise, Working Group.
Scottish Venison.
Quality Assurance schemes.
Chilling and preparation of venison.
Should you wish to engage in any of these topics, please let me know by emailing me here at adm1nldns@gmail.com so I can collect names and topics for nominations at the AGM. I would suggest that we plan to meet after the Summit closes to determine who can help with which topic.
I hope that you can attend, don't forget to register with Kevin, and I look forward to reporting al that has been going on and what is planned for the future on the day.
Please share this with friends and contacts and bring them with you!
Regards
John Bruce,
Chair.
