Lyman Gen6 calibration

Morning all

Anyone with the above scale got some tips of getting the scales to calibrate? I have tried alllllllllll sorts to get it to work. Brand new scales, never had powder in them. I have run through the calibration process about 20 times now, and all I get is error and a reading of 30grams for the 50g weight. I have tired to move them to somewhere else, hard work too, soft work top. Let them warm up, then left them for an hour, still no luck.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

is there any packaging trapped under the platform ? (do not attempt to remove the platform)
is your cellphone next to the unit ?
wipe down with a dryer sheet to remove static ?

HI There i have one of these,
that seems odd, have you removed the pan, when trying to zero.
It should be simple, about 3 minutes of "warm up time" where you do nothing, zero with the weight, then I usually just hit zero with the pan on, and off I go
I will go and have a play and see if there might be something obvious

What @plumber01 said.
Also, don’t use where there is a draft, just a gentle breath will affect the reading

I have a set that have always been spot on.
Have you rang the retailer?
May just be a faulty set

Managed to get back to where I brought them from and they swapped them for another set. The shop couldn’t get them to calibrate either. We tried all sorts and nothing would work.
