Magpul Bipod

Hi all,

Looking at bipods for my tikka t3 6.5 creedmoor in a GRS hunter light stock - anyone have any experience with the magpul bipod sling stud mount?

That’s great, the main reason I’m looking at it. A few people have said it feels ‘loose’ or wobbly, is it just a case of pre loading it properly? And where did you buy it from if you don’t mind?

Iv had it a few years, as soon as the sling stud version came out. I can not remember where I bought it.

No its not wobbly at all. There is a nut to tighten or loosen to change how easily the bipod tilts, like the harris has. I would have it over a harris.

Indeed. If you don‘t load it with your body weight it is wobbly back and forth. The tightening nut only takes the slack out of the cant. It is a very good bipod though.

I have one in FDE sling stud attached I may part with one my new ones arrive in a few days. Pm me if you’re interested although I’m not 100% as yet. Cheers

Have you looked at the Spartan Javelin Lite - I've just bought one and it's excellent in my opinion.

I have, but for a bipod that doesn't fold etc I can't justify spending that sort of money on one.

£130 and it goes in your pocket when you're not using it. It's a thing of beauty. Light as a feather. Cant, pan, can be locked, and only on the rifle when you need it. What's not to like?
