Making Gambrels

I've not got any metalworking kit so I might have a go rigging up a jig from 10mm bolts through a scrap hardwood block I have and seeing if that works

I think I can make a trial one with just a single pair of uprights and see how it goes

I used to make these a few years back and are still going strong 8mm for the ring 10mm for the hooky bits. It supported my weight when testing and it's small enough to fit in a pocket or waist bag

I could no more make one of those than I could make a working jet engine

Thanks but they are easy enough to make it's not rocket science gambrels maybe a little more difficult for Katy perry to knock up though
