This is a 1922 (original proof date) MSch M1903 Takedown rifle re-barrelled to original 6.5x54 MSch chambering by Callum Ferguson @ Precision Rifle Services, Tomintoul, with a Krieger match barrel in 2019 & has not had more than 20 rounds fired through it. Yes, - really! 20 rounds. Scoped using Recknagel & Ziegler mounts & rings, it comes with an 8x56 Schmidt & Bender scope fitted by a well known reputable gunsmith. The rotary magazine is a work of art & the action is smooth & slick. 140gn SST or Sierra Game Kings shoot well &160gn Hornady I haven't worked on.
It's just brilliant how this rifle strips apart & re-assembles so easily, including the bolt assembly
Now I'm slowly retiring from shooting, so reluctantly the rifle is for sale. Sensible offers for a rifle that shoots well with a brand new barrel.
This is a revived piece of history given a new lease of life. Absolutely first class engineering!
I'm thinking around £1650 - Frankly, it's a steal at this price, the Krieger barrel alone cost £1500 .... (The sling is not included)
