You are really better off getting the current one from the organisation that you will be using. There are differences between bodies. No set in stone, like Highway Code.

thanks to all of you for your kind offers and advise, i am now sorted both with an online copy and a kindly donated paper copy that ill be sure to donate on to another SD member when im done to help them along the way,
i would also just like to say what a nice forum this is compared to one or two others and how friendly and helpful everyone is.
