Quick link from Wikipedia, for those interested in a classic lever action 1960's rifle :-
The Golden 39A is still considered one of the finest examples of a lever .22 rifle, and one of the most accurate .22 rifles ever produced. It is also the best-selling lever rimfire in U.S. history.[2] Additionally "mountie" versions have been produced at various points in the rifle's life which featured a shorter 20" barrel and a straight stock.
Comes with a Nikko Sterling 3-9 scope. 1969 year of manufacture rifle. Built of steel and walnut. Beautiful condition, with the added utility of a take down gun.
Probably will regret it's going but not getting the use it deserves. Never threaded, and why would you want to. If you have room in your cabinet you should buy it. They dont make them this good anymore.
