A beautiful - war era Martin James Split Cane. A well respected rod making Redditch family between 1800-1950.
This is a very tidy and usable 1940s rod in a perfect size at 8'3" for some lovley brownies on the dry fly. I have been using a modern 888 floating line in #4 but you may wish to experiment with other lines.
This will be sent well packaged in a plastic rod tube.
