MDT XRS chassis query

Im thinking if getting the above chassis for a tikka t3x. I believe I need an aics magazine. My question is, can I use the 3 round mag to maintain a nice slim profile, or do I have to have the bigger 5 round?

hi i have the mdt xrs chassis with tikka t3x upr , i went for a single shot mag mostly cause now i only shoot off a bench this mag fits so flush you can,t feel it , i also have a 10 shot aics mag which seems quite long.
