Not electric, but I've a tre spade mincer. It's really solid and didn't cost a fortune.

I have done Andrew James mincer that has coped with doing 15 kilos of mince at a time for the last few years.

Got an Italian mincer, off the net, after googling meat grinder. My girlfriend even bought it for my birthday- very liberal of her! I can ram my meat in it at a good pace and it never complains ( unlike my GF!) Tre Spade TC-12 El/160 Electric Mincer

Went 5 years ago for the Lakeland mincer as it's only about 1 in 4 carcasses I do mince/burgers/sausages and it's never missed a beat. When it does gets used, it gets used hard. Found a secondhand one for £20 shortly afterwards and bought that for spares but it's never been needed.

Tre Spade.
I've been through and broken and slowed down a few Amazon cheap jobbies over the years when starting out. Lots of plastic parts and monkey metal, as you call it. Overheat easy, wear etc etc. It all depends how many you process i.e. frequency and if you do the odd bit of a deer or if you will process whole deer weekly like I do.
I currently use a stainless 1.5 hp inox no. 22. Which is a pricey unit but i got a slightly damaged (body) in transit ex demo unit for a lesser price. It smashes through everything.
A Tre Spade inox no. 8 in stainless is a good starter and it will last a long time. Go stainless over cast metal.. with cast metal mincer units (not blades etc) you have to look out for rust after you have cleaned them and dry them off well straight after cleaning, not leave to drain/dry on a surface.
I use Weschenfelder for most of my supplies.

I’ve one of these and have done whole deer with it. I would prefer a bigger, quicker one but this does the job if you don’t want to spend much

Got me a Tre Spade from Weschenfelder about 5 years ago - it has to work hard for a living and has never let me down - costs a few quid but worth it i think. The Tre Spade 3l sausage stuffer I got second hand for £30 is also very well made and robust.Weschenfelder after-sales is also very good and they carry spares.
