Medal class muntjac? Thoughts?

Managed to get a buck I’ve been chasing for the last 3 years…

Is this worth a measure?
One of the brow tynes is very short , almost a nub , but wondered if there maybe enough points overall? The other is about 1.3cm , short one maybe .6 to .7cm , beams are roughly 13cm on one and 13.2 on the other other maybe just over, coronets are 8.2cm and other is 8.3cm
Mid beams seam bout 5-5.2 cm

Almost want peoples thoughts incase my dreams are crushed on return from the CIC!

Looks like it’ll medal but the coronets aren’t that big in circumference, the difference in length of the main beams & short second tine means that not only will you not make points for the second tines but you’ll also lose them for the difference in length. Think you’re being a bit optimistic with some of your measurements too I’m afraid. Do you have the distance between the mid points of the main beams? You can use these measurements to get an idea of the score easily enough as the criteria can be found elsewhere on the forum or online easily enough. Whatever score you get, expect any formal measurement to be well below it! But as already said, if it doesn’t make a medal you won’t be charged for the service.

I’ve measured with a tailors tape and tried to be conservative?
Difference between the two beams at the widest point is 12 cm

I find better is a bit of string or butchers twine, and mark it with a fine liner marker or similar, more accurate at getting into and around lumps and bumps, then mark your other end, lay flat against a tape and measure. Calipers for span are handy

High bronze to silver ?
It will loose points on the brow tine.
If I remember rightly, cic is length, circum of pedicle, length of tine (depending on length to be counted) span half way up head, span between tips.

CIC website will confirm the measurements.
