Had a S&B PMII on my 220 swift and a recent acquisition of a rifle meant that had to come off the swift - so a scope needed.
I’ve been looking around at good used scopes as usual, but I’ve seen a few Meoptas and been impressed, so when I saw Gregor was shifting some of these at a good price I thought I’d drop the hammer on one.
Now let’s be clear, it’s not a PMII. And it’s being judged against the other scopes and bins I use which are all top drawer - Swaro, S&B, Zeiss and a US Optics. Each of those would be around 2k for a similar FFP scope, with illuminated reticle.
So, is it worth 1/4 of the price of those top drawer scopes? To me, 100%.
FFP, Zero Stop on elevation, mil-mil clicks and reticle, nice illuminated central cross on reticle, parallax adjustable down to <25yards. Build appears very solid. Czech made. 10 year warranty.
Glass, when compared with the S&B and Swaro is marginally less bright and slight loss of clarity at the peripheries.
But I could solve that with £1500 or live with it.
For the money, super wee scope. Great clarity, good reticle, positive clicks, well featured, solid built with a decent warranty.
On a vermin, plinking and occasional roe rifle with ability to used a pard007 add on its just about perfect.
Thoroughly recommend.

Good to know and read the Meopta are working well for people. I’m running minox picked up sedond hand at a reasonable price. The Meopta sound like an alternative.

I have minox binos which I keep as a spare, I've had minox scopes in the past, but to my eyes meopta have the edge
