Offered as a complete package. Merkel Helix Alpinist .308 with spare .222 barrel (and bolt head).
.308 together with Ase Utra Jet-z moderator. (Green barrel in photos)
.222 barrel together with Hauksen moderator. (Bronze barrel in photos)
Both barrels cerakoated by Mick at MW Guns. Moderators colour matched with the barrels.
Rifle originally came with a tactical black stock. This was swapped for a green Alpinist stock. The original black stock is included in the sale.
Standard bolt changed for larger bolt handle (genuine Merkel accessory). Original bolt handle included.
Two standard magazines and one extended magazine in .308. One .222 magazine.
Merkel and Blaser sling studs are smaller than standard so an additional standard sling stud is fitted to allow use of a bipod.
Blaser leather sling included in the sale. Bipods and scopes pictured are NOT included in the sale.
.222 ammo: 90x PPU, 20x Sako, 38x Federal. All 50gr soft point. Included with the package or the .222 barrel.
Complete package £2275. (Additional £25 contribution required towards RFD to RFD postage costs.)
Rifle is just back from servicing at Midcounties Blacking RFD. This is Merkel UK’s recommended RFD for servicing. Unfired since service. Cycling perfectly.
Located close to Brighton if you’d like to see it in person.
I may consider selling the rifle and spare barrels separately, priced as follows:
.308 rifle, both stocks, both bolt handles, 3x .308 magazines, Blaser sling, Ase Utra Jet-z moderator = £1550
.222 barrel, Hauksen moderator, .222 bolt head (FYI this is a separate line item on your FAC), 1x magazine, ammo = £800
Round count on .222 less than 100. .308 unknown but grouping well at 100m.
