Merkel K3 Quick Release Mounts

Does anyone have any experience with quick release mounts, particularly the Recknagel mounts for the K3? Do they all offer reliable return to zero?

In my experience with two sets of the Merkel/Recknagel mounts - yes they do return to zero.
This is assuming they are correctly adjusted as per the instructions.

Great, thank you for confirming. When you say ‘adjusted as per the instructions’ I presume you mean providing the tension on the ‘claws’ is correct?

Yes, the two I have were set perfectly from the factory but if someone subsequently incorrectly fiddles with the adjustment screws you could end up with a base that moves under recoil. In such a event they are easy to readjust.
