I'm selling my Merkel Alpinist straight pull in .308 as I need to make way from an incoming Tikka.
The Alpinist has the larger bolt handle and adjustable stock which sets it apart from the other models.
I've recently had it repaired at Midcounties Blacking so the action is in perfect working order and not been fired since.
The rifle is threaded 15 x 1.
Since owning the rifle I have had a new barrel fitted with the round count at only 113.
Also selling with the spartan bipod adaptor on it and two magazines, one 3 round and the other 5 round.
It's been a great rifle for me and has been used for stalking with little range time.
It shoots 1MOA groups with factory ammo, I'm of no particular talent so a good shot that spends some time fettling ammo will no doubt be able to get better than this.
I'm based in mid-Essex but can transfer via RFD.
