A new variation (not 1:1) turned around in six working days from submission online to new ticket delivered to my door. Good clear pragmatic and concise comms throughout a genuinely excellent service.

Their grant service seems to be less than stellar though…

Applied for a grant of an FAC 11th July last year

Had the FEO visit 5 Feb this year - lovely lady

Informed last week that my grant has been successful but I’m still waiting for it to come through the post… coming up to 9 months now…

Sis days is not stellar. It is normal. Unfortunately, we have become too acccustomed to and accepting of dusgracefully poor service. Absokitely no good reason why a 1 for 1 ought take any longer than 2 working days.

They do say on the website that new applications are taking eight months , which is a lot longer than it used to be, but still not bad given the national picture.

Not sure why it should make a difference but as stated in my OP this was not a 1:1 so not sure what your point is Apthorp
