Mixed Bag....

In part of my text to the farmer it said "off out for muntjac/fox" "Good Luck" was his reply!

The ground has dried out well also with the part I use is quite steep and no need to leave ruts so I waited, being up the top give a good view back into the wood and the thermal was playing it's part very well this evening. This pair were working their way down but over the years I have learnt they disappear just as quick as they appear lol
The best window of opportunity was on offer as I had been looking and this was going to be it! The larger one was just out of the scope so over the younger one went then the doe took a few more steps and she also followed her daughter.
A short scrabble up the ditch (I remember the beaters complaining about it when I ran the shoot there ) then on the tailgate for the trip back to the pond "aka hot spot" while they were bleeding I set up for a wait and see" there comes Charlie creeping along he is no more!
A bit of heat further to my right so on my toes to close the gap by a quick 100 yds, here it comes as second fox "clonk"
That will do Tim, clean those 2 and home.

shot over 30 from that block with one crossing the ride very fast and heading up into the vines so marked it's card lol
