Mobile CCTV system

Hi, would anyone be able to help me find a cctv system that could be fitted on a mobile engine at work?

I need 1 that could either be run on 12v battery or an inverter, have connection via a WiFi router(ee/Vodaphone type thing), be able to have constant feed not just give me movement alert etc and have high quality footage. Not fussed about recording ability as it’s just to keep an eye on things that are happening in real time. Also would need to be fully waterproof, and handle vibration

At the moment, we have a rio link SIM card camera that runs on a rechargeable battery but it only lasts 2 days and it times out constantly if you try to watch it for long periods.

You can get solar powered IP camera and then use the 12v battery via a 12v to 5v usb converter to feed wifi dongle fitted with a SIM card.
however even the dongle consume a reasonable power so the 12v battery would need regular topping up every few days.
Have a similar setup protecting a storage container, with the 12v battery charged by a solar panel, but when not a lot of sun I do have to swap the 12v battery now and then with a charged one.

The engine runs every day so i would just run the power off the battery, which recharges anyway. Would just be like running a dongle in a car

Thought along the lines of some POE cameras with a hub as long as the hub was wireless as I wouldn’t have any Ethernet ports

If you have plenty of capacity in the battery and it is charged every day then their are plenty of 12v IP cameras to choose from, eBay or Amazon will sort you our the a couple of these to power them, with suitable IP55 or better box and usb cables to the camera and WiFi dongle.

you will be able via an app to live view the camera and or send movement alarm notification to a smart phone or other device.

Not sure if something like that will be any better than what I’ve got at the moment. Was thinking more like a 4K wired camera to a hub, maybe something with a wide angle lens etc

You can get better quality just look on Amazon and eBay etc. If you want wired to work to a wifi router you need better than the small EE type as they have no Ethernet port, wireless only.

These are 5mp with zoom and wireless which what I used.

Would something like that stand the vibration? I have a Reolink at the moment(link below) and it keeps moving and undoing itself. It’s not the best at all

I could have a bigger mobile broadband set up if there is 1, again, as long as it can either run off the battery or inverter. Just obviously can’t have a land line haha

Ye I looked at there’s, not sure if the quality is that good either. If we have 3 cameras, would need 3 SIM cards

These work 4G and have one Ethernet socket, claim to be outdoor but I only tried mine indoors, run from 12volts.
