mod bushing open up

Anyone on here that can open up the diameter of a moderator rear bushing ?
I will be picking up a mod in the next few weeks and will need it opened up

I would expect the dealer, selling you the rifle and moderator, to open it out for you !
Mine has offered to open a mod whenever I've bought one and that was without buying the rifle from them at the time.

Most unusual, so not a gunsmith then, just a gun seller.
Congratulations on choosing a super moderator by the way.
I have just changed my A-Tec mods for Dpts and am very pleased with them.

Could you measure your barrel diameter with a vernier and pop the bush in the post to dpt telling them your barrel size and they'll probably take another mm off etc and get them to do it

Don't bother with the bush - it just marks your barrel.

Just pop into your local engineering firm...dpt are good mods i have one on my .270

Anyone know if he is still in doing this, I read somewhere he has stopped

What happened to the days when the model or motor engineer lived close by....

Just pop it in the lathe and skim a bit out the bore FFS...

No engineering place near me and I don't have access to a lathe
