Moderator Recommendation For .308 Blaser R8

I'm looking for recommendations for a moderator for a standard profile .308 factory threaded barrel on my Blaser R8, its been a long time since I purchased a moderator. What are people using? Why do you like the moderator you are recommending. Intended use is stalking mainly. Who stocks them in the Midlands.

I use DPT moderators, lightweight and efficient. Got them on all my rifles (Blasers), you can add a stainless baffle for extra durability/moderation if required and the baffles are replaceable if one wears. You will of course get plenty of other recommendations!

Dpt all day long. I have the magnum over barrel model with a stainless first baffle and four normal baffles..
I use that on either my .308 or my 30-06.
I was trying an F&D moderator at the farm some time ago, I shot five shots then used the Dpt for another five shots.
The tractor driver, that was working in a field nearby, said to his ears, the second batch of shots was not as loud as the first.
To my ears they didn't sound much different but then another of the farm hands working nearby, said the same thing.
So in my opinion and unbiased reports from a couple of others that didn't know what I was doing, the Dpt came out best.

MAE are really hard wearing and pretty quiet, i get mine from JMS arms, sussex. really good bloke to deal with

Convert to the F&D range - I use a FW196 on my .308 and a FW149 on my .243 Work well for me……
