Hi All .has anyone experience of fitting a mod to a 416 rigby .shooting st an animal is no problem (almost) but checking zero very uncomfortable even with a past recoil pad . I’m in my seventies and not as fit as I was but like the 416 as it’s a serious big game calibre. A muzzle brake is not an option . Pic is of bullet after going through buffalo shoulder and heart

Try shooting the rifle off sticks ? My rifle, A bolt 375, in a synthetic stock is a bitch to shoot off the bench. I’ve shot other wooden stocked 375’s and found them comfortable to shoot.

Hi thanks in Africa always of sticks. Have a manlicher 375 wooden stock which is ok but like the 416 for its terminal performance
