Apologies if this has been done before but google doesn`t throw up a definitive answer where Wild Boar are concerned.
I`m off to the Forest of Dean from the 5th to the 9th of June to hopefully photograph some Wild Boar again. As an attractant I`m taking some Maize with me, I intended taking some Mollasses with me but around here I can only buy it in gallon containers. I only need a bit to put around the bottom of a tree.
Would a couple of tins of Black Treacle suffice or is it inferior to Mollasses?
Thanks for reading this.

molasses are thinner and less sticky, black treacle is more refined for human
consumption, its thicker and stickier especially when you
get it on your hands and down your shirt:stir:

Am heading to Germany for business this weekend anyone need some stockholm tar bringing back? it is very stinky though once opened.

Molasses, at keastin animal feed grade is cheap and easy to find.
I get through a fair bit of it as a rust remover.

Neil.
