Just a suggestion, but think they should come with a small carabiner to allow you to store as a cummerbund round your waist when not in use.

I vaguely remember reading somewhere that as long as the firearm is covered and the trigger/action manipulation isn't readily accessible then all good. Blanket, sleeping bag, what ever you wish. Made sense to me that the individual carrying cannot operate the action/trigger when covered.
