Monometal bullets a question

Forestry staff either look after the rifle or really don't . They aint like the old school British military who would put you on a charge for lack of maintenance.
The person who cares should really clean after every outing when the rifle is used and some when it wasn't

On the contrary - the Commision Rangers are held to account for their maintainence procedures - each year every rifle ans shotgun used in the course of work is inspected , bore scoped and subjected to examination with written report on wear , damage etc

👍🏻

That's for filing depreciation on assets I'd imagine

most of my knowledge of this is in Scotland , its obviously different there regards how the guys look after things but yeah , you have to inspect them periodically under regular old H&S the employer is responsible same as in any industry they aint free from corporate manslaughter charges
Held to proper account for ruining a rifle through lack of due care ? I hear that is not happening to the guy who is in the field using said item . The employer has however been over zelous in removing items under h&S when the real issue has been lack of due care and maintainace by the USER in question ( ref first paragraph)
