I had these for dinner tonight, and am glad they can’t be confused with any of the amanitas (or shaggy parasols, which are easy to differentiate) View attachment 323941

People have been known to mistake panther caps for young parasols. Pick them mature like yours and there's no problem but immature parasols can look very like panthers.

I’m not sure about that, chanterelles take some beating (as do the saffron milk caps I’ve just picked).
