Federal government declares 'war' on feral cats

The environment minister hopes to avoid more species becoming extinct due to feral cats, as a draft plan to contain the animals is released for consultation.

Can’t stick the things - they (cats in general) have a massively adverse effect on many species here in the U.K. as they roam around killing anything they can - it’s a good reason to let the fox population grow as they seem to deal with them and aren’t as deadly to song birds as cats are.
