Done to many red sika and roe with mine to remember just a strop after use and a razor again
When i started offering my knives commercially it was all about the folks that end up with a cupboard full of blunted knives that didn't hold their edge.
To that end i have always offered free servicing on the product , however with legal changes and the cost of legal knife post and the difficulties in someone without a dangerous goods account sending these items ( not impossible just difficult ) its quite a stress and cost to get the item over but i still offer it to the person who bought it at postage cost only or as a personal drop and re-collect
Best thing is stropping and a skilled user should go beyond 100 large deer , bled and gralloched !
