Munty Double

Afternoon all,
Was stalking a wood block on Friday evening and spotted two muntjac on the edge of the wood grazing on leftover peas that were cut a few weeks ago. Wind was wrong and too dark to shoot so went home empty handed.
Anyhoo, gave it a go again last night, went up to wood edge and waited there for them to show. Hour and a half later one shows up, but 150+m away and running away from me along edge of wood. 5 mins later second one pops out in same place and does the same so decided to stalk in.
Trailed it along wood edge and got to around 75m, where it had met up with the first MJ.
Got up on sticks and waited for broadside, and dropped the first buck as he moved back to wood. Second buck wasn’t that bothered by the shot - skipped into cover and then popped back out onto the peas so dropped him as well.
Both shot within 5 mins of each other and dropped to the shot.
Well chuffed as first double on that perm, and nice when recce and a plan pays off!
Both dressed out at 7.7kg and 7.4kg, and still young bucks, guessed at 2 years old but stand to be corrected on that 😂
Looks like I will be busy prepping them later in the week.
