I’m just on the way home from a plains game management safari in Namibia.

I got the E Visa but it was a pointless exercise. It saved no time v other travellers ( we were all subject to a 2 hour delay at passport control on arrival).
 
It’s just a tax scam, like the other versions around the world, US, Canada, The EU and UK are jumping on the bandwagon. Many more as well at a guess.
 
Arrived in Namibia on Thursday having gone to the effort to buy and submit my E-Visa in advance. Complete waste of time as we were all made to leave the queue to complete the usual old form by hand.
 
At least you don’t have to complete the exit visa now which was a pointless exercise. The plane on the way down was noticeably light on passengers . I wonder if that $1600 visa fee has put a few off. 🤔
