Hi all anyone no where to seat the neilson bullets in 308 I here they need long jump .thankyou.

The Nielsen (& Peregrine too) bullets I've tested are made with uplifted driving bands, so there is no conventional land contact point on the melplat. ie the nose section of the bullet is the diameter of the top of the lands. The driving bands are the only part to engrave in the rifling.
I loaded só that the top of the cases aligned with the front driving band. At that length accuracy was excellent.

Thankyou 👍🏻

I asked them this a while ago and they replied with the following:

"We do not operate with a COL on our bullet design. Instead we seat them to the upper groove, which is the crimp groove. For the 110 grains .308 hunt bullet, it is 8.30 mm seating depth."

I need to finish my load development with this bullet so can't really confirm it, but that's what they recommend at least. They're also very helpful with load data if you need it.

Seating to the top groove was the advice given when I purchased them. I was told that they are quite forgiving when it comes to seating depth as well.
