Just picked up this fantastic pup from @dearhunter. Already slotted right in, and our existing dog a HWV seems to have calmed bizarrely. A great addition to the family.

How did he settle last night K ?
He's been fantastic!! He went out once in the night for a leak and once again. I slept downstairs by his crate last night and will again further away tonight. He not been a problem at all. He has a great nature and will make a fantastic dog. Looking forward to seeing how he progress's. Part of the family already!

Yes, my long wished for HWV, who is a great family pet was just not interested in deer. He was also spoilt by a young family. He is the most amazing pet and loved by all, even the postman. He is however just a bit highly strung/over excited. My fault I should have better researched and planned - but we wouldn't be without him.
The new boy seems to have recuced his over excitednness and he has calmed markedly??

No local to me by very luck chance!! Via dearhunter who bred a fantastic litter! All the pups I saw looked good but this chap was the most chilled and turned out to be great he's not six months old and is very biddable and showing great promise. Any faults will be down to me!! Haha.
