Total Rubbish job...no prospects and the outcome is predictable....too many landowners will not co-operate with this scheme especially those who have good income from deer management or do not want shooting on their land for whatever reason,,,been there done that.....Tony ...New Forest Deer Management/Deer Emergency

The spec definitely reads like they're in need of a multi-year posting but presumably only have annual funding that they're able to commit. Much of the spec also seems to be code for 'we need someone with tact, immense powers of persuasion and skin as thick as an iguana.' But if that person is around, it has the potential to be successful...

On the other hand, there almost certainly landowners who are desperate for a co-ordinated approach, assistance and the evidence from drone surveys etc. If no one tries to come up with solutions, where are we?

We are 2yrs behind on culling due to Covid....ask Forestry England.....
