Hi all
What would your thoughts be ?
Having a pulsar xg35 compact and a set of vortex ranger 3000 binoculars would you sell them for the new habroks 4k 2?
Thanks for uour opinions.

Yes.
But not for HE25L version if thermal channel is important to you. The diference in thermal picture between Pulsar XG35 and Habrok HE25 will be too big and you might be disappointed.
IWA 2026 is around the corner and HIKMICRO is certainly holding HQ35/50 or something even better in Habrok 2.0 format to lounch there.

Yes its a big drop down from a 640 sensor with 35mm lens to a 256px sensor with 25mm lens... A hard pill to swallow, losing that image peformance.

I had a pulsar axion and some vortex fury’s and chopped them in for HE25’s and don’t regret it. The thermal is a bit basic but fine for stalking. The 4k is brill, especially with the giro stabilisation at 22x and the LRF all in one unit.

It seems that also Pulsar is bringing something in multispectral range on 20th of January.
Mybe mr. Blackwood can tell us more about it.

I have a question for anybody who had a chance to field test Habrok 2.0.

Since there is only one focusing wheel, I am wondering what happens whit thermal picture, when you are focusing digital channel and vice versa.

I can see, that there are two focusing wheels on Pulsar Symbion, each one separately for each channel. That makes more sense, or am I missing something on Habrok 2.0.

Mybe focusing of both channels is synchronised so good, that picture at the same distance is focused in both channels at the same time. Hance no need for two wheels.

Thank you for any suggestion how to resolve my dilemma. 😊

Cheers

The focus is specific to the channel you're on - at least that was my belief when I was playing around with the demo set a couple of weeks ago.

The focus system is good, it stays focused when swapping channels, when reverting back.
