how dose the image compare the the condor cq50 for long range detection ?
Its only available in 35mm models on the HH35 and HQ35 versions, so there is no 50mm option.

Detection range is down compared to the 50mm models 1800m on 35mm vs 2300m (claimed 2600m) on the 50mm.

From using a wide range of products , personally I think, if your using 12 micron with a 640 sensor then a 35mm focal length lens is the perfect sweet spot. Moving to 50mm you reduce field of view under 50 yds drastically, obviously this is not an issue on a rifle scope, but in a handheld or binocular when picking up, locating it's not a nice experience...

(17 micron 640 and larger 12 micron 1024 sensors , FOV issues are not a concern even with 50mm focal length lenses as they maintain good FOV)

If you purely want foxes at long range then the 50mm Falcon and Condor will give you that at a low price, but if you want a wide field of view and a much more versatile product for every use, I think the 35mm 640px is the one to own...

I'll get some more videos up soon...

Had a play with all of these at a demo evening last night,

The Habroks are a serious good bit of kit for the money, for lowland stalking I think these might be top dog at the moment for versatility cost and use.

Interesting experience with the falcons too, the fq50 had the best image but was a bulky thing to hold, as are all 50mm models from pulsar etc etc

The fq35 was basically just a lighter 50 with better field of view, yes the image was a bit less detailed due to the lower mag but unless you’re foxing at 400+ I don’t think that’s a concern

Interestingly for me, the fq25 was the sweetheart in the range, virtually same as 35 but with a 1x zoom at the lowest setting and insane FoV. For stalkers looking to spot then using bins or a scope to fully identify it’s perfect. You might not be able to judge brow times on a munty at 200 but you’ll know he’s there, know he’s shootable and be quicker to get your rifle up

This may be controversial but I don’t think pulsar are the leading force anymore, they’ve been caught napping
