Morning - am new to the site and got drawn in by good old google - searching for once fired ammo.
Am a member of a local shooting club and have access to the usual NATO rounds but not .243 - hence the google searching.
I enjoy carrying out home loading but appear to have joined the hobby at the wrong time - COVID/UKRAINE/Europe declearing a lot of US made gun powders naughty.
So I do carry out humane pest control of foxes with my Savage .223/5.56 but with modern thermal equipment and the quality night vision scopes available this isn't all that often.
So in general the majority of my live firing is on the MOD ranges in the South East of England.
Am hoping to get on the the Deer control and stalking mainly due to the increase in Muntjac on the farm near where i live, these Muntjac are a pain to all things pheasant rearing -consuming large amount of feed, destroying pens, eating anything that flowers and are a danger to road users. Just awaiting the green light from the land owner.
