I currently live in Bergen, Norway, and hunt red deer, upland game, and when lucky enough to get a tag, reindeer.
Hunting in the Bergen area, and the west coast of Norway in general can be best described as up and down. You spend more time going up, than coming down. Not quite sure how that works, but I swear its true.
I use a 308 win for deer hunts, currently on a Sako S20 hunter, with a Swaro Z8 scope. Just changing to an Ultimatum HMB hunter with an IBI Carbon barrel, its still in the box as I am awaiting delivery of the new Svemko supressor.
Upland game I hunt with a Beretta Silver Pigeon 12ga, although I haven't been on a trip in a few years now....need to change that this fall.
Got a Anschutz 1517 in 17HMR, and a CZ457 in 22LR.
