Hello all! Andy from Warwick here. Been shooting for over 50 years. Poor health has put an end to my stalking these days but still very much interested. I’m mainly long range target shooting these days. I use a 6.5 Creed and 338 Lap Mag. Load my own rounds and fairly knowledgable with load development. Always happy to help a fellow shooter if I can. Hi mate, I have a Ruger Precision 338. I go to Minsterley for zero and load development. I was at Orion on Wednesday but the weather was diabolical so only got out to 1000yd. Also have the odd trip up to Bernard Castle with Richard Utting at Sharpshooting. He has facilities to reach 3000yds there but I find a mile is enough….

The weather was atrocious on Wednesday. The wind was 30mph gusting to 40mph from 12 o’clock at the firing point swirling round from 3 o’clock in the target area. Hard to call! Managed the 1 moa plates at 1000yds.
It did settle down for a while so I got the 6.5 creed out and managed 1/2moa with that. All good fun!
