Hi I have both cz457 with the thumb hole stock and both have the wildcat whisper moderators.
If your shooting rabbits with the 17hmr I’d definitely get a moderator as they make quite a bang !

Trust me, I've exhauseted youtube 😂

Its always good to see pictures of peoples setups to see what they've done and why. As it gives you different perspectives and ideas.

No worries though if you dont want to.

My rifles are totally bog standard. ,no different from when first purchased.
Chris Parkin is a good reviewer on tube tube and for what it’s worth the 17hmr beats the 22lr all day except for moise !

I must admit I've watched all of Chris Parkins videos across the CZ range. Most of my vermin shooing is sub 100m, so the .22lr maybe the first purchase with the DNT Thermnight but a second hand .17HMR to go with my Element Optics Titan will be a purchase for later next year.

I tend to use the hmr in daylight for longer shots and the 22lr for closer shots and noise restriction

When you shoot both you will see what a little beast the hmr is compared to the 22lr
Any hit on a rabbit with the hmr, head, body instant kill.you always have a chance of a rich octet with the 22lr not so with the hmr
Happy hunting
