Hi Guy`s,

I`m a new member based in Cheshire. Obtained my licences last year for pest control on some land I own (no deer present). Joined my local rifle range for zeroing in etc. I`ve since got into a bit of target shooting with the lads at the weekends but something was missing! (Stalking) I`ve been on a couple of successful stalks now taking Roe and Red, with more trips booked in for next year for similar including Muntjac, CWD etc. Lets just say I'm hooked and thoroughly enjoying it, as a long time angler I appreciate the surroundings and being lucky enough to live in the countryside myself get out a lot walking with my Lab. He is doing field trial training with the wife. I currently have 22 rimfire and 223 centrefire rifles as well as a couple of shotguns. My ticket list has slots for 22LR .22 Air FAC, 17HMR, 223, 243, 308 and 6.5 Creedmoor. As a fairly new license holder I`m using estate rifles which have been 308. Currently looking at the 6.5 Creedmoor which seem to cover most things as the legislation changes with the lead ban. I requested to be a member here as it seems to be the go to place for everything deer stalking. Looking forward to my next stalk, the Shooting show February and the Deer stalking show in April. Perhaps I will see you there!? Cheers! Miles..

Meant to say - what a fine choice the 6.5 Creed would be. There are still a good few cave dwellers on here who love their .270s but we have to try and be tolerant of all comers   I am loud and proud and love my Creed and boy do I get some abuse for it....character building 👍

I have broad shoulders! lol
