Had a log in for a long time but never followed through with an introductory post.
I’m Woody based out of Saffron Walden. Keen on all field sports and traditionally come from game shooting. Have broken into deer stalking last year to a considerable financial hole in my pocket
. All the gear no idea springs to mind but I like to think I’ve been learning quickly. DSC1 completed already and WGMH Course in the pipeline. Involved with a very kind gentleman who has taken me under his wing to teach and coach me through my new journey. I use a .243 Tikka T3 with a Alpex 4K, I do feel that maybe there maybe be a more traditional rifle and scope on the cards later down the line. In the shotgun world this would be the equivalent of shooting a nice new beretta Silver pigeon but wanting to buy a nice classic English S/S shotgun.
Keen to engage with nearby deerstalkers to expand knowledge and partnership.
