Hi
I thought I’d join this forum after reading it for a bit and being recommended to me by a mate, I suppose I should say a bit about myself and what I do, I have been involved with all kinds of shooting for many years now and I am currently a keeper on a small private pheasant syndicate in North Yorkshire, which I quite often invite people to that wouldn’t normally get the opportunity to shoot driven game, I do a bit of deer stalking but mainly only when me or someone else wants one, I have a lot of low land for the roe and a few fallow up at my syndicate, a lot of my time is spent on foxes and rabbits, rifles I use consist of .243, .223, .17hmr and .22lr, I’ve seen a few names on here I recognise so with a bit of luck one or two of them will speak to me

I can vouch for this- I had the pleasure of Stavs company on his shoot a couple of seasons ago & even last season with all the hoo ha over birds he invited me again (but I couldn't make it this time). A top bloke 👍

(See, i can be nice!)

Hi, what area do you beat, my shoot is near Helmsley
Lovely area up there!

We are out at Wetherby, flat as a pancake but we have a good craic and get some birds over the guns. Never seem to get in as many drives as we’d like because it’s too much of a social event 😂

Ours is very much a social event now, elevenses is my favourite part of the day, I been in the syndicate for about 14 years and done a lot of the work and pest control over them years, but took over the keepering/running of it ( unintentionally) 2 years ago and so far it’s going well 👍
