New Pixfra Draco Multi-Spectral 4K LRF Binoculars

I've had this Draco 635 for a month now.. Generally happy with it for all it does my initial recommendations would have been to reduce the size of the lrf cross.
It would be nice to switch between day/thermal with one click.
Also in pip mine only allows night/twilight and not colour.

The daytime stream also seem to be grainy and colours washed out. Not sure there is anything I can do about that? The video and photos were about 100m, I was expecting better at that range for definition and colour. As can be seen it's very difficult to make out the roe in this footage..

Anyone else who has one, is this nornal? Thanks in advanceView attachment 459852View attachment 459853View attachment 459854
Try turning off Defog mode, it gives you a horrible image.

I found the Optical channel in the Draco to be ever so slightly better than the Habroks.

The latest software update has reduced the size of the LFR crosshair.
Agree about needing a one clock change from day to thermal
I'm pretty happy with the daytime image - as another has said its slightly better than the Habroks, try paying about with the settings.
I am occasionally underwhelmed with the thermal performance - but very happy with at other times. It doesn't help that the weather has been abysmal since I got mine, and to be honest they are still streets ahead old Habrok HE25's

I'm happy with the thermal, it's only the daytime image I can't fathom and sadly that's what I need the most.
I tried playing about with the settings but it is only contrast, brightness and sharpness and this image is the best it will give me....

I just use black and white. Always found it better for me on all day night scopes. And I have had Habrok 1’s, Habrok HE25’s, HQ35 4K, Pulsar C50, Alpex 1, Pard Nightstalker 4KEX, Alpex 4K, DNT 30mm 4K and Draco 635 4K. Colour is nice to have but for a dependable image with my eyes B&W is just easier.

In terms of animal ID, it's leagues ahead. It's gone from a white blob to actually having definition and shape.

The net curtain effect is seriously getting to me though, but as you say the weather has been shocking.

Out again this morning. Net curtain effect significantly improved as the day got warmer.

Overall I'm really liking these though. Battery lasted until around 1200 before they needed replacing with the spare set

I've now set LRF to range for 15 seconds on press, as the reticule would appear and disappear again far too quickly. I do think 15 seconds is way too long as the shortest ranging option. I'd prefer 5.

Wouldn't have been able to make out the shape on my old Habrok.

I use 15 seconds too, but agree 5 or 10 would be better.
I was out a couple of afternoons ago in dry (what are they???) condition and was really impressed withe the thermal channel.
Last night in the incessant light rainthey were poor, but i probably still better than my old Habroks

Anyone know where you'd go to get replacement end lens caps? 😬

My initial comment about them being a softer material than the Habrok, was accurate.

Coming from he25l they are better thermal wise, I have a real problem switching from thermal to optical.
I use mainly at night so I want to switch from thermal to night vision in one press like I did with habroks, currently it goes to daytime optical then night time, then I have to turn on the IR. And switch it off when going back to thermal. Bit of a faf.
Why wouldn’t it switch to night automatically when it’s required? It’s an unnecessary step.
Hope this can be made easier as this alone is enough for me to warrant a switch back to hik.
Also the IR is nowhere near as good as the habroks. Streaky and washes the ground in front of me so I can barely see anything forward, the focus barely changes it

There is a settings for auto IR.
Personally I find the IR good, have you focused the torch?
That said, I too would like to be able to switch off one of the modes, in my case I use only Thermal and Optical at dawn, dusk and in daylight.
