help looking to purchase a new or good second hand 7 mm 08 preferabally nice bit of wood blued barrel etc . looked all round game fair no luck and have been told theres a nine month wait if i want a new sako 85 or tikka when your in your local gun shop dealer etc or just talking to mates just ask to see whats about your help would be appreciated and rewarded with a nice quality roebuck if i could find the right rifle . many thanks roedinator .

As a Tikka owner you need your mouth washing out with soap for the totally outrageous post above how could you type Blaser in the same line as Sako

As the owner of 2 precision engineered Tikka rifles built to obvious perfection , I feel that a Blaser is better off out of sight in some cabinet somewhere than on display, bringing the whole Stalking thing into disrepute!!

i bought a Sako 85 hunter, blue barrel, walnut stock etc

it took me ages to find someone selling one in this country but finally a friend (gundealer) phoned another gundealer up and had one i paid an extra 15% for a brand new one but it was the gun i wanted.

i havent looked back since.

/sigh... i need to sell something to pay my Tax hmmm

that price quoted by Gregor for the blaser is for just a barrel. and it wont be blued, like rodinator wants. but i'm sure Gregor has a few nice bits of wood in stock that would wrap around it nicely. then you need the bolt, scope mounts etc..

sako/R93 same budget???

come and join the master race, you wont look back. prepare to start off loading all your other guns if you go for the R93.

jingzy thanks for that had two sent over from minsterly to my local shop but just come up trumps from a lead from the game fair buying a sako 75 stainless synthetic scoped with a swaro .
