QR rail and rings for 2 rifles for scope swapping

Hi everyone I am thinking about getting Alpex or Digex scope to help me with twilight deer and fox control when I sit out of an evening. I would like the flexibility to run the scope on 2 different rifles.

Tikka 595 22-250 my main foxing rifle (this may get treated to a dedicated thermal in future)
Mauser M12 Max in .243 - I would like the option of having the digital day/night scope on this and maybe putting back on a nice German scope for summer stalking etc.

New to the Picatinny/tier one/Recknagel world with rings and rails. I would like to buy once, cry once.
Thank you for your advice.

I currently have a set of QR rings on my Mauser M12 rifle and these are the Mauser own brand. but not sure if these are interchangeable/compatible with rail system on another rifle like the 595.

Assuming you have some sort of Picatinny rail on Mauser (pics from web show it doesn't have rail by default).

One piece mount is always better than separate rings, unless it blocks / obstructs ejection path. Also some rails, usually two part, might not be compatible with one piece mount especially if it has several recoil lugs or other arrangement that needs the rail slots to be in specified places.

QR will only work, if both rails are in spec (QR mount will also have to be in spec). Other option would be that both rails are similar, at the points where it counts from the perspective of the QR mount. Believe me, very few rails even from "big name" manufacturers are in spec.

Mounts with bolts or screws, and half decent torque driver will be your friend. It's always best to switch scopes in good lighting and "non stress environment". Make sure to write down which slots you're using on which rifle (or put something physical to prevent you from using wrong slots), and make it routine to check the zeroing profile while switching, taking rifle out of cabinet and preferably even before the shot.

Thank you for your advice. I have not got a rail on any of the rifles.
Currently on .22-250 I have optiloc bases and rings.
On Mauser I have their Hexalock QR rings which come with their own bases.
