Hi all. Live up in the Lincolnshire area but originally from down near Oxford, a village called Charlbury, right between to parks that when I was at school had hundreds of deer. Don’t know if that’s still the case. Dichley park and Conbury park. I served nearly 30 years in the army in a Rifle regiment RGJ. I shoot only air rifles as I’m disabled and walking around is difficult in the fields as I can’t use a prosthetic. We have around 3 acres of our own land that is surrounded by open fields and a woodland next to us. Hope to buy an acre of that in the near future. We have loads of monkjack feeding and giving birth in the woods and we even had one give birth on one of the islands we have with shrubs on. Be good to hear from members that shoot deer on how to manage monkjack. Looking forward to learning some useful tips. Oh go easy on my, as you can imagine I’m just a fragile, grumpy old veteran
