Hi, I first started shooting pigeons and rabbits as a teenager, joining my uncle and his spaniels on neighbouring land. Over the years, I've regularly been out wildfowling along the Wash, joined several rough-shooting groups, and controlled foxes and rabbits using my .17 HMR and .223 rifles. About fifteen years ago, I took up deer stalking, primarily roe, and typically take half a dozen per year—mostly shared with friends or cooked at home. I've recently retired and, keen to stay active, plan to continue stalking once I relocate to Scotland in the coming months. I'm now preparing for my DSC1 qualification, aiming to further my skills and get more out of my time in the field. My current rifles include a Tikka T3 in .243, a CZ527 in .223 re-barrelled with a stainless Lilja barrel, and a classic Browning T-Bolt .22lr built by Miroku.
