Looking to re home an ideal first rifle to a new starter, granted a .243 isn't everybody's idea of the perfect calibre, in this new age of monolithics, but Hey Ho it's a freebie .... CZ 550 in nice condition gloss blue / black, original open sights in situ, stock replaced in sporter configuration as the original full stock was broken.
Came into my posession last year as a charity raffle prize, (I was bidding it up & ended up having to get a variation to take ownership :coat:), A simple Burris scope came on top with usable glass. Not been shot by me so unable to quote accuracy, bore looks in fair order, now on soak with Mil Foam, 80 rounds Lapua 90 grain FMJ to go with .... & back to the calibre, I shot my first Red's on Arran with one so you can take the "Girlie gun" jibes with a smile.
Would any established members who may know of a youngster genuinely just about to start out (Will need FAC slot) please pm.

The last .243 I gave away, was a Browning, The guy who had it was never heard of again after picking it up. Just trying to remember his details.

Shame. I've seen a few cracking rifles (and plenty of other kit) go FOC to newcomers via the generosity of SD members, and it always saddens me that so few of the lucky recipients subsequently give a progress update to the online community that provided them with a leg up.
