Your not thinking as a stalking scope are you ? I had one good target scope but less than ideal for stalking , well unless stalking for you is waiting hidden in a over a large area . Heavy things unsuited to a sporter / stalking gun , low light wasn't great even a 6x42 S& Bender beat it in that dept without that having the illumination that the NF had . A good scope for comp shooting at long ranges though

I have an inordinate amount of scopes I want to get rid of, but even though I don't go on the ranges anymore, I like having the facility for long range. My NXS 8-32X56 is actually useable for hunting, mainly because it doesn't have a stupidly small dot, but a useable central cross.
I have about £6000 worth of scopes I want to sell. I deliberately use a 300 Win Mag on everything, and often use a 4x36 Schmidt and Bender scope ( the L96 back up scope, with mil reticle, and dialable turrets).
I'm a big fan of Schmidt 6x42 scopes, as hitting fox sized targets to beyond 300 yards, is pretty easy.
