Local gamefarmer has an 03 plate 3.0 which he uses for delivering birds up and down the country. Reckons it is good truck and comfy to drive and tows 2.5 tons ok and has covered over 200,000 miles without major fault.

Have a 3.0 lit/ 2004 Van type for a month now. Did 2000 km in it. Up to now, great working vehicle. Plenty of loading space and comfortable on the road. Off road use will be for the winter months - shooting season.
A question : The book says that you have to go from 2WD to H4WD when driving in a straight line and without using the clutch. Can you go safely from 2WD to H4WD when standing still???? You drive to the end of a decent woodland track in 2WD , need to turn around and get stuck. Can you, in this situation, go to H4WD without harming the vehicle?
Using cluth or not ???
